Jim Bennett

Founder & Owner

​Jim is the Founder and Owner of Carmasters Automotive, established in 1998. With over two decades of hands-on experience in the automotive service industry, Jim has led Carmasters to become a trusted name in vehicle repair and maintenance. Under his leadership, the shop has achieved notable accolades, including ASE Blue Seal Certification and recognition as a RepairPal Top Shop.

Since January 2019, Carmasters has been a proud member of the NAPA Gold AutoCare program, reflecting Jim’s commitment to high standards and quality service. He is a certified MACS EPA MVAC 609 Instructor and Proctor and has remained at the forefront of automotive education through ongoing ASE testing recertification, serving as an APP Beta Tester. Jim holds certification as an ASE/NATEF Evaluation Team Leader for Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, and Collision repair, and is also an ASE CASE Continuing Education Accredited Training Provider. Jim is currently the Director of Technical Training and Development for the Automotive Training Institute.
