Course Description: This class is aimed at the generalist/all makes all models shop and technician who does not often work on German cars but would like to build competency and have greater success when they encounter them. The objective is to provide practical skills and a solid foundation of how German car manufacturers structure their service information, training, and diagnostics. Understanding proper use of scan tools and scopes is crucial to success on German cars. Comprehending fault code logic is all a significant skill to develop and hone that allows technicians greater success on these vehicles as well. We will cover this as well. Technicians should expect to have a better foundational understanding of German cars and their logic after taking this class and be prepared to take on diagnoses with more confidence than ever before.
